Exciting progress is underway for the ALPS Playground in Avon Lake as City Council has officially approved advertising for the contracted section of Phase 1. This marks a significant step forward in the development of this community-driven project.

Phase 1 includes moving the existing mound to create a new observation area and multi-season sledding hill, providing a fun and scenic space for year-round activities. The Avon Lake Public Works Department will handle this important mound work, ensuring it’s centrally located to maximize the stunning views of Lake Erie.
