Avon Lake Public Library – Programs & Fall Events


The Avon Lake Public Library has a plethora of activities and programs to enjoy this fall season.


  • Boo By the Woods: the library utilizes the Lorain County Metro Park pathways that connect to the library parking lot, creating a “Trail of Haunted Tales” for kids to enjoy during daylight or nighttime. The event also has other fun activities such as inflatables, pumpkin decorating, hay rides, obstacle courses, food trucks, and much more!
  • Music Lessons: children and teen beginner guitar lessons are available as well as children’s ukulele lessons. 
  • Jewelry Making: learn how to create unique necklaces and earrings from local Lake Erie beach glass.
  • Adult Programs: 
    • Garden Club Program: gather with local garden enthusiasts
    • Discover Your Past: Explore a variety of genealogical research topics
    • Tea Time Book Club: enjoy tea, cookies, and a discussion about a great book
    • Write a Novel in 30 Days: bring your writing ideas and learn from a published author
    • Read, Write Local: meet with local and regional authors to discuss and showcase their work

  • Teen Art Club: create your own art using different mediums
  • Story Times: different story times catered to babies, toddlers, or preschoolers.

Anna Page

Anna is in charge of Marketing & Tenant Relations at Rockwood Living. For the past 5 years, she has worked in both residential and commercial real estate and property management here in Avon Lake, OH as well as in Nashville, TN. Aside from organizing tenant appreciation events and fundraisers for local charities, Anna’s favorite part of working at Rockwood Living is interacting with and creating relationships with the tenants. She enjoys working with and supporting local businesses and exploring all that Avon Lake and northeast Ohio has to offer.
