While pool season isn’t quite here yet (fingers crossed this warm weather keeps coming!), pool
memberships are available for purchase now! More information below on pool memberships as
well as swim lessons offered at the pool.
A few things to note about pool memberships:
- Individual AND family memberships available!
- Must be an Avon Lake resident (proof of residency must be provided)
- A maximum of 2 adults may be listed on a family membership
- All family members must reside in the same household
- Children must be under 18 years of age or still in high school at time of purchase
- Children 2 and under are free and are not to be added to your family membership
- To enter the pool children 11 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an
individual 14 years of age and older - Pool memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable
Avon Lake Recreation Department offers swim lessons for children starting at 6 months and
older ranging from all skill levels. Swim lessons are taught according to the American Red Cross
learn to swim guidelines and are created to teach water safety skills in a safe and fun
environment.
- Parent and Child Aquatics: Ages 6 months to 4 years old
- Preschool Aquatics: 4 years old
- Level 1: Ages 5 and older, Introduction to water skills
- Level 2: Ages 5 and older, Fundamental aquatic skills
- Level 3: Ages 5 and older, Stroke development
- Level 5: Ages 5 and older, Stroke improvement
- Level 6: Ages 5 and older, Stroke refinement
