Located on the west side of Avon Lake, Miller Road Park consists of 14.7 acres situated right on Lake Erie. The large park contains a playground, pavilion, gazebo, picnic tables, grills, and plenty of grassy areas to let the kids run around, making this a great spot for family gatherings or outdoor festivities. The gazebo and pavilion are both rentable to residents and non-residents in two and four-hour increments. Avon Lake’s summer concert series also takes place at the gazebo at Miller Road Park where residents can enjoy a free concert on those beautiful summer nights. Residents can also enjoy a nice walk along the lakeside paved trail or rest on one of the many park benches overlooking Lake Erie.

The fishing pier at Miller Road Park is open year-round open and is great for fishing, walking, watching boaters, and of course, catching those beautiful Lake Erie sunsets. This is a popular spot for photographers to get stunning sunset shots.

What makes Miller Road Park one of Avon Lake’s most popular spots is its boat launch. The boat launch is open from April through October and is staffed daily from 6am to 9pm. Launch access is available 24/7 and season passes are also available. There is designated parking for vehicles and trailers and ample parking for visitors to the park. For the past few years, Miller Road Park has been home to Avon Lake’s annual Beer Fest, put on by the Avon Lake Athletic Boosters. This event features more than 60 different local and regional craft beers and wines from some of the area’s most popular breweries and wineries. Live musical performances and a plethora of food trucks make this event a can’t miss!
